what's in the knitting bag?: mittens

I request the highest of fives. With mittens on. 

So... If you haven't guessed, I am currently knitting mittens. Nice one there, Inspector!

When I last updated you about my knitting, I had a cute little moomin bag with all my wool in. Since then, I have invested and acquired a lot of wool. Which is AWESOME. But it means I've had to use a bigger bag to keep all my projects in. So I am currently using the one above which I got for Christmas from some lovely family! As it was a gift, I don't know where it is from but I have seen a similar one here. I saw a girl in Uni with it today. :)

I'm super proud of this! The only thing is, I've slowed my knitting down and I have only done one mitten. I will get on that. My left hand is currently very cold.

I plan on the other mitten being made out of this green wool. I love nothing more than contrasting colours and mix-matching. There's just enough left over after I've completed the pattern to make a pom-pom which I plan on stitching on the front of each one. A purple pom pom on the green mitten and the green pom pom on the purple mitten! Quirky, my good friend!
